Design Technology is a semester-long course that introduces students to the elements of design, and the design process. During this course students will be introduced to fundamental design software such as AutoCAD and Inventor. In addition, students will also learn the traditional technique of hand drafting. Students will then take these skills and complete a series of projects that will serve to assess their learning. Some of the projects include...
1. White Wing Gliders
2. Water Rockets
3. C02 Cars
4. Extreme Mousetrap Cars
The Design Technology course allows students at Pathfinder to use some of the latest and greatest technology out there! Once students complete their units in AutoCAD and Inventor, they will begin using 3D printers to create and print their very own projects.
